The Inspiration
"Drama" was painted reflecting on the power of emotion. We aren't meant to hold our feelings in and store them in our bodies. We are meant to be like a flowing river, moving through emotion and letting them pass through us. This painting was such a beautiful release of emotion and it truly felt sacred putting each brushstroke on the piece. The textures are surreal, and the colors in person literally make my jaw drop. This painting is bold in spirit, and holds such a powerful truth of the human experience.
