The Inspiration
The crashing sound of waves, and the salty water touching your toes is recharge. I wanted to make this painting as a symbol of peace and the ocean. Life has been moving in a way that feels like rapid fire recently and when I arrived on the canvas I intuitively began creating this. Within this work I've woven string and metallic touches, which are fun to search for and add a little touch of eye candy!

Frame: Douglas Fir Floater Frame
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas with iridescent & metallic paints that change with light. I also incorporated embroidery thread in this work!
