The Inspiration
There is such a dynamic beauty on this island, I had to paint it! Whidbey isn’t a tropical island, instead it invites you to salty air, dramatic misty skies and when it’s summer sandy toes. I have had so many adventures over the years on this island, I wanted to create a piece that captured the feeling of this place! It’s an invitation to lean into island time, and find peace in the beautiful storm.
