Force of Nature

Rainbow on
the rocks

When I land in the airplane at Redmond airport there is this sense of belonging and home that I feel when I smell the juniper trees and see the mountains sparkle back in these colors. This piece captures one of the iconic Central Oregon peaks we're graced with.

The crooked river carved these canyons and wild rock formations as a force of nature many eons ago. And today, we still as a community show up to these rocks and are marveled by their wonder. It's truly a force of nature.

My family recently drove up to Smith Rock and while there at sunset, we became absolutely marveled at the fact that a rainbow beamed over the entire park. This piece is a reminder of hope, love and the divine beauty waiting for us outside if we embrace it.
