The Inspiration
This painting concept came to me over the summer and was completed near the Fall Equinox. I felt compelled to create a piece that symbolized the juxtaposition of our thorny darker selves and our majestic vibrant parts. We embody both within us, and I love how this piece creates a sense of grounding and connection when viewed on the wall.

Frame: Walnut frame made locally in Bend, Oregon
Medium: Acrylic on canvas. This work has gold paint that will glimmer and change with the light throughout the day!
