The Inspiration
The Deschutes River is at the heart of where I live in Central Oregon. The river carves a place of solitude, renewal, and wonder every time I visit. Splashing the icy water on my face, seeing my son dip his toes in, and listening to the rush of the water brings me so much delight. I created this set, “A Place To Be,” as a reminder of your favorite place along the river. When I see this painting, it brings me straight to a warm evening with the sun setting and the river rushing by. I hope you can feel it too!
Dimensions: 30" width x 40"height x 2.5" depth per panel. Total dimensions 60" width x 40" height.
Frame: Douglas Fir frames made locally in Bend, Oregon
Medium: Acrylic paint on canvas. The thick textures in this set are a dream to enjoy!
