The Inspiration
On the 4th of July this year, I woke up really early and couldn’t go back to sleep. I went downstairs, made an espresso, and watched the lightning storms. It was quiet and misty, and I was able to reconnect with some of my inner wisdom. This painting is a reflection of that sweet morning—and watching the storm roll through!

Medium: Acrylic & oil pastel on canvas. This work has gold paint that will glimmer and change with the light throughout the day!
